She’s a Mormon.
But she really wants you to know that the name “Mormon” actually comes from ancient scriptures called the Book of Mormon.
“Mormon” was a prophet that lived a long time ago on the American continent. He compiled what is known today as “The Book of Mormon”
People that believe in the “Book of Mormon”…became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
So…awhile back…some witty fellow thought it would be funny to call the members of this church… “The Mormons”
Well…like all good nicknames…it stuck…and now many people today believe that “Mormons” worship a guy named “Mormon” or go to “The Church of Mormon.”
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
So Kristyn wants you to know just one thing about her:
That she believes in Jesus Christ!
The real name of her church is “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints”
…and she’s Christian at her very core.
